Treetops Villa is located near the northwest tip of Grenada, overlooking the island's scenic north coast and the historic town of Sauteurs.
We are about an hour and 15-minute drive north of the capital, St. George's, and about an hour and a half drive from the airport.
Treetops is less than two miles (3.22 km) from Sauteurs (about an eight-minute drive), where you can find supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, ATM bank machines, a gas station and a hardware store.
The view from Treetops definitely has the WOW factor!!! The villa provides spectacular views of Carriacou and other islands in the Grenadines.
The secluded woodland location is ideal for anyone who wishes to get back to nature and experience peace and tranquility. Hiking and bird-watching are available onsite. Gorgeous (and often deserted) sand beaches are a short drive away.
Driving Directions
There are three possible routes you can take to Treetops from the airport, St. George's or Grand Anse: (1) the Western Main Road, (2) the Eastern Main Road, or (3) the road over the hills past Grand Etang.
The Western Main Road
This is the shortest route, but the most difficult to drive. At present there is a challenging detour past Moliniere through Mount Moritz. If you are not familiar with driving conditions in Grenada, I recommend that you use the Eastern Main Road route, which is longer but a better road and easier to drive.
At Duquesne Bay, the Western Main Road swings inland. About one mile inland watch for a bailey bridge and a sign for Petite Anse on your left. Turn left across this bridge and then almost immediately cross another small bridge. You are now on Prospect Road.
Prospect Road is very narrow . It is only one lane in most places. If you encounter another vehicle, you will have to work out with the other driver how you will pass each other. Fortunately, most drivers in Grenada are prepared to work collaboratively.
Continue on Prospect Road up a long hill. At the top of the hill the road will swing to the right and you will see the Grenadine islands in the distance. Continue downhill on Prospect Road until you come to a T intersection where you will see another sign for Petite Anse. Turn right and continue uphill on Prospect Road.
After you pass a large steel shipping container on your right you will see a sand-coloured two-storey house with white railings all by itself on your left. Directly across from this house on the right you will see two white pillars. Turn right through these pillars.
Drive up a long driveway until you come to an intersection with another driveway. Turn right. You will see a pink salmon-coloured house on your right. After a short distance, the driveway will swing around sharply to the left. Continue on the driveway until you come to a fork in the driveway. You will see signs pointing left to "Reverie" and "Treetops". Turn left.
Continue on the driveway up a little hill and around to the right. You will see a second sign for "Reverie". Do not turn left but continue straight ahead. You will see the yellow "tower" of Treetops ahead of you. Turn right and go up a little hilll to the Treetops parking space.
The Eastern Main Road
Drive through Sauteurs to the west end of the town. At the Plaza de Sauteurs the road will turn sharply inland for some distance and will then turn back toward the sea. This is now Prospect Road. Continue uphill on Prospect Road past the entrance to the Petite Anse Hotel. At the top of the hill the road will turn sharply to the left. A short distance past this turn you will see two white pillars with lion statues on top of them on your left. Turn left through the pillars.
Drive uphill on a long driveway. Drive past a pink salmon-coloured house on your right. The driveway will then turn sharply to the left.
Continue on the driveway until you come to a fork in the driveway. You will see signs pointing left to "Reverie" and "Treetops". Turn left. Drive up a little hill. The driveway will swing around to the right. You will see a second sign for "Reverie". Do not turn left but continue straight ahead. You will see the yellow "tower" of Treetops ahead of you. Turn right and go up a little hilll to the Treetops parking space.
The Road Over the Hills (the Grand Etang road )
The road over the hillls meets with the Eastern Main Road at Grenville. The directions to get to Treetops are therefore the same as for the Eastern Main Road.
